Employment Diversity Statement

This Director of Public Prosecutions Office (DPP) aims to be a workplace where employment is equal and to include people of all ages, races, nationalities, and disabilities.

The DPP welcomes people who are gender fluid (LGBTQIA+), people who speak a language other than English and people of all religions.

The DPP understand and respect that people come from many different walks of life and aim to show this through our range of staff.

We also have policies and strategies in place that include everyone – it is important to the DPP to show that our office is made up of people from all backgrounds and abilities.

The DPP aims to have the number of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander staff not less than 5% of staff.

The DPP will report every year on how many staff in the office are the following:

  1. Speak a language other than English for themselves or at least one parent
  2. Were born overseas for themselves or at least one parent
  3. Is Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander
  4. Is gender fluid or part of the LGBTQIA+ community
  5. Has a disability
